Searching for new models of collaboration outside the gallery space - which quickly became necessary because of the COVID-19 pandemic - WHW Akademija has produced a sound collage inspired by the twelfth-century epic poem The Conference of the Birds by the Persian poet Feriduddin Attar, as adapted for the stage by Peter Brook and Jean-Claude Carrière. This group sound performance is a result of intense collaboration and conversation. Along with the collective work on the text and its interpretation, the participants explored the possibilities of audio interventions, constructing a common language, and developing a space for collective action through sound. This group sound collage was performed by the participants of the second generation of WHW Akademija in collaboration with sound author and producer Ljubica Letinić and conceived as a joint encounter in virtual space.
